Final post for today (making up for vacation in July…)
There is a very nice review of some of the most important presentations made at the ASCO meeting that just came out. You can sign on as a guest and read it for yourself here. Jonathan and Chuck are both friends and they did an excellent job of summarizing a very large number of presentations with data that I think will be easy enough for the average patient to read through and understand. The Educational Concepts Group is one of several organizations that receive funding from pharmaceutical companies in the form of educational grants, and then fund “key opinion leaders” to write or present medical information. That said, I don’t detect any bias in the selection of the materials presented.
